natural emotion

this is really sad. but, also really interesting. im exploring feelings in humans but i find it interesting to see expression of emotion and attachment in animals. i suppose i find it interesting because in some way it serves as an exaple to human thats feelings are natural, not imagined things. it also perhaps speaks more of what feelings are and where they come from and why we have them? survival instinct?
